Fountain basins allow for the installation of pondless water fountains, which are fountains that let the water overflow onto the ground instead of into a stone pool surrounding the fountain. This is an effect that will make your water feature look more natural, especially if it is used in conjunction with a rock fountain or a boulder fountain. Our basins are built to last.
A fountain basin must be larger in diameter than the diameter of the fountain's water overflow footprint. This rule should be followed in order to collect as much of the overflowing water as possible. Ideally, if all of the water is recollected after it goes through the fountain, the water basin will not have to be refilled. However, an autofill can be used to supply a steady, small amount of water to the fountain's reserves. The ground base that is around the base of the fountain and over the water basin must be penetrable by water. Pebbles, rocks, and some types of fabric can be used to hide the basin.
